L’Occitane En Provence Eau De Cade Eau de Toilette for Men*
This fragrance for men exudes masculinity. Cade is another name from juniper, which has a reminiscent of woody pine. The fragrance includes head notes of bergamot and petit grain, while heart notes include cedar and pink pepper and the base notes cade and cistus.
In Provence shepherds handed down from generations the secrets of cade wood, which is a symbol of a tenacious character and strong values of tradition and generosity. And the fragrance does indeed smell very traditional – but not in a bad or boring way. For my husband it brings back memories of aftershaves his father and grandfather used to wear, so it is a very timeless fragrance with a refreshing spicy and warm woody scent.
The fragrance lasts forever, and even when my husband sprays it in the morning, I can still clearly smell it when it comes home from work. It comes in a flash shaped bottle, which is simple yet very masculine too.

L’Occitane Pebble Soaps*
If you are on a budget – or want to give your dad or partner a little more, you cannot go past these limited edition pebble soaps. There are three varieties including Cade which matches the Eau de Toilette with its warm woody scent. Or pick L’Occitan, a peppery and musky scent, or Verdon which has a nice refreshing and stimulating scent. The soaps have been cleverly designed to fit into a man’s hand, and gently clean the skin, leaving behind a nice scent that quickly spreads through the bathroom. And while my husband has been using these for weeks now, you can hardly tell they’ve been used as they are so concentrated.
RRP: $8 (100g) each – Available from L’Occitane
