What I Say:
The Native Box is committed to connecting its members with Australian businesses that provide exceptional organic and sustainable products, as they believe that each dollar spent on such products cast for a better world – and believe that they can help shift the balance towards a better Australia and safer planet. The Native Box has several different boxes available including the Mum & Bub (check out my review of the Winter 2014 Mum & Bub Box), the Beauty Box (Check out my review of Winter Beauty Box), a Vegan Box, A Men’s Box, and of course the Classic Box (you can see my June review here), but let’s get onto the July box. These are the goodies that were included in this month’s box;Essentially Natural Organic Coconut Flour – Sample Size
I have never before heard of coconut flour, let alone even thought about buying it. And to be quite honest, I wouldn’t really know what to do with it. It is supposedly low carbohydrate, high in fibre and naturally gluten free, not that any of these really bothers me. Anyway, always keen to try out some new foods, I will have to look into what I can actually cook with this.
Available from Essentially Natural Coconut Magic Raw Energy Bar with Raspberry – Full Size, 45g
This energy bar is made with coconut oil an coconut nectar, dates, almonds, cachews, goji berries and of course raspberries, and sounds delicious. I love that it is made from 100% pure and raw ingredients and doesn’t contain any additives or preservatives. I cannot wait to dig into this one…only, I have to get some photos taken of the energy bar first, darn!
Available from Coconut MagicVABORI Olive Leaf Lozenge – Full Size, 12 Lozenges
These lozenges are made from manuka honey, olive leaf extract, lemon and menthol and are 100% percent natural, and the perfect remedy when you’ve got a dry or sore throat. It is obviously the perfect time for the inclusion of these, with colds and flu’s being at the height now during winter. Luckily I’ve so far managed to stay clear of one, but I may just have to test them out anyway.
Available from VaboriGo Green At Home Eco Toothbrush – Full Size
This toothbrush is made from 100% eco bamboo, and the bristles from bamboo charcoal which is supposedly better for both you and the environment. I generally use an electric toothbrush, although I still have an old fashioned one at hand, and I love the simplicity of the shaped timber of this Eco toothbrush. So next time I am using a manual brush, I will definitely need to check it out.
Available from Go Green At HomePeeled Snacks – Organic Mango Pieces – Full Size, 40g
I love mango. Absolutely love it. And so does my little one year old boy. Sadly it is not quite season for mangoes here in Melbourne, but still I gave in the other day and bought a couple, mainly to give my little boy a variety in his fresh fruit. And while it tasted nice, it just wasn’t as nice as a mango in season. I always snack on fruit and nuts, so I look do look forward to trying these out, and being all natural with no added sugar or preservatives is only a good thing.

Morlife Goji’ Antiox Wholegrain Toasted Muesli – Sample Size, 60g
My breakfast alternates between muesli, oats or porridge, so I am quite looking forward to trying out this new variety. It contains wholegrain cereals, and fruits such as goji, blueberries and cranberries which are high in antioxidants, as well as nuts, seeds and fibre to give you energy for longer. Sounds pretty yummy to me, so as I’ve gotten some photos taken, this is another product that will be tested straight away.
Available from MorlifeCherry Brown Crème Mineral Foundation + makeup sponge – Sample Size
The information card included in the box said you’d receive either the Morlife Goji’ Antiox Wholegrain Toasted Muesli or the Cherry Brown Crème Mineral Foundation, and well, for some reason I have received both, which of course I am not complaining about. The mineral foundation comes in a tiny stick the size of a lip balm, and is made using a blend of jojoba oil, sunflower wax and natural mineral foundation. It is said to give a good coverage while not clogging the pores, so it is perfect for my combination skin, so lucky I got the colour that is a perfect fit for my skin tone. I cannot wait to try this little Tasmanian made foundation out, and the small stick would actually also be prefect to keep in your handbag for touch-ups on the go.
Available from Cherry BrownFinally, the card also mentions that there are two Xmas in July bonus samples included.
Piranha Australian Soy Crisps – Sample Size, 40g
I have previously received samples of the Australian Bush Flower Essences hand creams which I’ve really enjoyed using, so I look forward to giving this face wash a go. It contains morning citrus dynamis, and smells so lovely and refreshing.
So there you have it, this was the contents in the July Classic Native Box.
And yet again this box is chock full, and I was actually struggling closing it again! I think that the box contains a great selection and variety of products, as well as a variety of brands, all of which I am very happy with and will look forward to using. I particularly love the inclusion of the snacks, but also very excited to be trialling the mineral foundation from Cherry Brown as it is a brand completely new to me. So again, I am very pleased with month’s contents as I can already see that I’ll get some new snack favourites!
