PRODUCT REVIEW: COLOUR THEORY NOTEBOOK PALETTE

Today I have a quick post to share with you about the *Colour Theory Notebook Palette;

What They Say:

Colour Theory Notebook Palette containing 32 eyeshadows.

RRP: $12 - Available from Amcal, Amcal Max and Guardian pharmacies, and Amcal Online

What I Say:

I have mentioned Colour Theory quite a few times now, in particularly in my Best Budget Beauty Buys posts, as the products are a fantastic quality at a very low price, with price points at $4, $6, $8 and $10. You can also see my review of the five colour Verry Berry Eyeshadow palette here.

Although a little higher than the above mentioned price points, Colour Theory has launched a Notebook Palette that contains a whopping 32 different colours. Ok, the sizes are only half the size of those found in their five colour palettes, but seriously, who ever gets to the bottom of an eyeshadow anyway!

And with 32 colours there is really something for everyone and for every imaginable look –there are range of nude colours in all shades, as well as pinks, purples, greens, blues and greys. There is not one colour that I can think off that’s missing from this palette. My only wish could be that the palest nude and the white shades would have been slightly larger, as I can see myself using those regardless of which other colours I am using, and hence I may hit the pan of these sooner.

You can create countless of looks, from a simple one colour look, or you can go adventurous and use countless of colour combinations. Or if you like it simple and classic, - like me - the many nude shades will have you covered too, with several shades to choose from.

The actual eyeshadows are in a good quality, especially considering the low price, and all have a nice sheen, although some of the shades are more shimmery than others.

The eye shadows are reasonably pigmented, so you can use them for just a wash of colour, or build up the colour if you like. For a more intense colour, I found that it was easier using them with a slightly damp brush. Staying power is ok, especially if you use a primer first, and fallout is minimal too!

The eye shadows come in a slimline notebook style book, with a cute floral pattern on the outside, and an elastic that keeps it closed. On the inside there is also a small mirror.

So there you go – if you are looking at adding a few new shades to your eye shadow collection, you can’t go past this cute Notebook Palette from Colour Theory.
