Product Review: Innoxa Velvet Blush Powder in Peach & Posy

With a 5 month old baby I don’t get all the beauty sleep I need at the moment. Add to that selling your house and chasing a new one, and I am a little worm out, consequently often looking a little worse for wear. And that’s when a good blush is handy to add some much needed colour and glow to the face. Here are my thoughts on the *Innoxa Velvet Blush Powder in Peach & Posy;

What They Say:
"Innoxa Blush Duo is a velvet blush powder designed for adding colour and a subtle natural flush to cheeks. The formula contains antioxidants and vitamins to help protect against environmental damage and premature ageing. Available two shades; Rose & Berry and Peach & Posy."

RRP: $14.95 - Available from Priceline, Myer, Select Pharmacies and Innoxa Online

What I Say:
The Innoxa Velvet Blush Powder in Peach & Posy comes with two colours, as the name suggests a peach shade and a pale posy pink shade.

Both shades goes on sheer, yet they are still so pigmented that you can build up the colour as wanted. And as I have bucket loads of shimmery blushes, I love that these goes on with a matte velvety finish.

And you can use each of the colours on their own, or blend them together to create a natural and flushed cheek.

The blushes are long wearing and by the end of the day, the colour is still staying put without having faded or slid off my face.

The Innoxa Blush comes in sleek square compact with a clear lid so you can easily see the colours. It doesn’t contain a mirror or a brush, but I personally don’t mind either, as I first of all never apply blush on the go, and I also prefer to use my own better quality brushes than those that come with blushes.

What I Like:
  • The shades go on sheer, but are pigmented so you can build up colour
  • Provides a natural flushed cheek
  • The colours can be used on their own, or together
  • Well priced for two large blushes
  • Innoxa is against animal testing

What I Don’t Like:
  • There’s no mirror or brush in the compact, but I don’t mind either as I don’t apply blush on the go and prefer to use my own quality long-shafted brushes

Overall, this is a lovely blush, and I love that it has a matte natural finish, it is such a refreshing change from all the shimmery and glittery varieties, so this is sure to be one of my favourites for a natural flushed cheek this summer. And at just $14.95 for two shades it comes at an amazing price too.
